Privacy Policy for LoveSkin

1.1 Hardware Permissions

• Camera Access (android.permission.CAMERA): We request access to your device's camera to allow you to take photos of your skin for AI analysis and scan product barcodes/labels. Photos are processed in real-time and are NOT stored on our servers.

1.2 Information You Provide

a. Account Information

• Email address
• Name
• Google OAuth basic profile info (email, name).

Note: We do not access your contacts, calendar, or any other Google services.

b. Product Submissions

• Images you upload for product/ingredient scanning.
• Photos of products you submit to help us improve our ingredient database.
• May be stored securely to improve our ingredient database.
• Not linked to your personal identity.

1.3 Information Collected for Service Delivery

• Skin Profile: We store the results of your skin analysis (skin type, e.g., "Oily", and concerns, e.g., "Acne") in your secure profile to provide personalized skincare recommendations.
• Push Notification Tags: We use anonymized tags (e.g., `skin_type: oily`) in OneSignal to send you relevant skincare tips and alerts.

1.4 Automatically Collected Information

• Device type, OS version, app version, and app usage analytics (anonymized).
• Crash reports to improve app stability.
• Advertising identifiers for Google Mobile Ads.

1.5 Information We Do Not Collect

We do NOT collect:

• Precise or background location
• Contact lists
• SMS or call logs
• Browsing history
• Financial or payment card details. All payments are handled securely by Google Play Store.

We do not use your data for advertising.

3.1 Facial Images & AI

Real-Time Processing: Your facial images are sent securely to Google Gemini AI for analysis.

No Storage: These images are deleted immediately after processing. We do not keep copies of your photos on our servers.

Privacy First: We do not use your photos for any purpose other than providing you with your skin analysis result.

3.2 Account Data

Stored securely using Firebase Authentication and Google Cloud, including Email, Name, and Auth identifiers. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

3.3 Product Submissions

Stored in Firebase Storage / Firestore. Used only to improve ingredient recognition and our product database. Not tied to your personal account in analysis results.

3.4 Security Practices

We implement encrypted transmission (HTTPS), limited access controls, regular review of cloud security rules, and authentication protection for all sensitive operations. Despite strong protections, no system can guarantee 100% security.

We do not allow these services to sell your data.

As a user, especially under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (India), you have the right to:

• Access & Correction: Review and update your profile data.
• Data Erasure: Delete your account and all associated skin profile history.
• Withdraw Consent: Opt-out of push notifications or analytics at any time in settings.

LoveSkin is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If a child’s data is discovered, we will delete it upon request.

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. If significant changes are made, we will notify you via in-app notice or email (if provided).

By using the LoveSkin app, you consent to the collection and use of information as outlined in this policy. Specifically, you consent to:

• The use of your device's camera for AI-powered skin analysis.
• Processing of face images for cosmetic analysis (processed in real-time by Google Gemini AI).
• Use of uploaded product images to improve our database.
• Google OAuth account sign-in.
• Subscription management through Google Play / RevenueCat.

You may withdraw consent by deleting your account or uninstalling the app.
